Day 1  Arrive in Beijing (D)
When you arrive in Beijing, your local guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After a short break, you will begin your tour of Beijing with an exploration to the old Hutongs and see a relaxed life different from that of urban residents. A welcome dinner is prepared for you at a fine local restaurant.
Enjoy a relaxing evening in the hotel.

Day 2  Beijing (B/L)
Today your first stop today is the impressive Tiananmen Square. Then pay a visit to the “Imperial Palace” known as the Forbidden City to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. Lunch is served at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon you will visit the Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors worshipped the Heaven for good harvests. Next go to the Summer Palace, once the imperial summer resort for imperial families during the Qing dynasty.
Night entertainment: Chinese Kung-fu performance

Day 3  Beijing (B/L)
To almost all the first comers, the Great Wall is a must-see site.
This morning you will head for Juyongguan Pass to hike the wonderful Great Wall. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Later the journey will take you to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the peaceful shadow of Longevity Mountain. Transfer back to your hotel.

Day 4  Beijing - Xian by plane (B/L)
Transfer to the airport and take a morning flight to Xian. Upon arrival in Xian, transfer to the local restaurant for lunch. This afternoon your tour of Xian includes a visit to the Ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 5  Xian (B/L)
This morning you visit one of the world wonders - Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. After lunch, you visit the History Museum which houses a large collection of historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province. Then visit the Great Mosque.

Day 6  Xian - Shanghai by plane (B/L)
Transfer to the airport and take a morning flight to Shanghai – the most dynamic city and the country’s financial and artistic centre. Upon arrival you’ll be met and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, you visit the Shanghai Museum which boasts more than 120,000 precious cultural relics. Transfer back to your hotel.
Night activity: cruise tour on the Huangpu River, stroll along the Bund

Day 7  Shanghai (B/L)
This morning you will have a unique experience of being a Shanghainese by visiting a local residential community, a local family and the children’s palace. In the afternoon you will visit the beautiful Yuyuan Garden and the Old Street nearby where you could buy some ornament for your family or friends.

Day 8  Depart from Shanghai (B)
Transfer to the airport for your homeward flight.
